Elementary Students (K–6)
The primary grade years set the stage for success by building a solid educational foundation. At Carlin Combined, our elementary teachers and staff provide an immersive learning experience designed to instill a love for learning in our students. Then we stand back and watch them soar!
School Nurse
Our school nurse is here with a comforting smile, a soothing ice pack, or the perfectly placed bandage.
Visit Nurse Christina Ward for information about keeping your family healthy.
Programs and Extracurricular Activities
We’re not just about the A-B-Cs and 1-2-3s. We encourage our students to participate in activities and programs to gain new skills, new friends, and have fun. Here are just a few activities we offer:
- Academic Olympics
- Band
- Student Council
Father and Father-Figure Volunteers
We’re looking for dads and father figures to volunteer on our campus. Come spend time with your child at recess, in the classroom, or for lunch. To find out how you can get in on the fun, please talk with your child’s teacher or call us at (775) 754-6317 or send us an email.
Title I
Carlin Elementary School receives Federal Title I funds to assist students in meeting state achievement standards. Throughout the school year, we will inform you about these programs.
As a Title I school, we must meet federal regulations related to teacher qualifications as defined in ESEA. These regulations allow you to learn more about your child’s teachers’ training and credentials. We are happy to provide this information to you.
